We would like to officially invite you to a very special event happening SOON…HARTFORD’s MAMMOTH MARATHON!!
On MONDAY, OCTOBER 7TH @ The American Legion Hall, Post 82, in Madison, TN; 6-10PM CST, forces will convene for a LIVE sight-reading play-through extravaganza by Brittany & Natalie Haas of all 176 fiddle tunes from John Hartford’s Mammoth Collection of Fiddle Tunes! This is a LIVE event open to the public at the American Legion and will also be Live-Streamed via YouTube. In-person tickets are $20, and will be sold at the door on a first-come, first-serve basis. Free live-stream hosted by our friends at The Violin Shop, Nashville.
Not only do we have the goal of sight-reading the entire Mammoth Collection Fiddle Tune book, we will be running an old-school pledge drive with the goal of selling pre-orders and garnering donations to help fund The John Hartford Fiddle Tune Project Vol. 2 & 3!
We are so excited about this event – we want it to be a massive, chaotic, marathon of a celebration of John Hartford’s fiddle tunes and we’d love it if you’d be a part of it. Please tell everyone you know, invite everyone you’ve ever met, and come listen to some tunes, either in-person or online, with Brittany and Natalie and all the rest of us!
**We will be updating this page as the event gets closer, so check back here, or on our social media channels for current information.**
